In occasion of the MIDO 2025 Eyewear fair I envisioned the renowned fashion brand The Attico launching a new collection of sunglasses crafted from bio-acetate. Embodying the signature luxury and bold design, this new line is a testament to their commitment to sustainability without compromising on style. For this potential new collection, I have developed the preliminary design for the pop-up store at the Milan fair.
CONCEPT: OUT OF OFFICE
Drawing inspiration from The Attico’s The Elevator campaign, OUT OF OFFICE is a tribute to the fluidity of modern life, where the distinction between work and leisure blurs, giving rise to a style that’s both sophisticated and versatile. Celebrate the modern individual’s dynamic lifestyle, where transitions from professional to personal are not just about changing locations, but also about shifting perspectives.
The mirror square box sets the mood and feeling of the brand experience. People will see themselves reflected all around the box and, once in the space, they will start thinking to be into their own life, selecting the perfect pair of sunglasses to embody it.
The three panels on the right are secured to the wall with rear pins. The side panels are made of proof metal and showcase the 6 models from the new collection. Users could interact with them on the central panel. This is an interactive LED wall, inspired by The Elevator campaign. People can call the elevator, and when it arrives, it will open, revealing the person wearing the sunglasses chosen for them.
Upon entering the space, we see the sunglasses display. it’s a central installation that reflects the brand’s logo, composed of three A’s. Each element has a different height, ranging from 150 cm down to 105 cm. Openings have been crafted in the thickest part for displaying sunglasses, matching their respective colors.
MATERIAL MOODBOARD
The main materials will be mirror panels, proof, polished and brushed metal, gray resin, blue moquette, colorful sustainable glasses and resins, and a recycled plastic material with a terrazzo effect.
